If you like warm, nutty, creamy, and fall/winter spices, this is for you! You can swap hazelnut extract for almond extract if you prefer and flex any of the spices to your taste. The almond butter makes a creamy almond milk in your blender and is what makes this so rich and dreamy! Mine was the last of my jar but ideally it’s a little drippier. Dairy and refined sugar free.

  • Yields: 1 serving

Ingredients

10-12 oz. your favorite coffee (French press here)

1 tbsp almond butter (or cashew or hazelnut)

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger

Pinch of ground cloves

Pinch of ground or fresh ground nutmeg

1-2 pitted medjool dates (depending on how sweet you like it)

1/2 tsp hazelnut extract (less if using almond)

Directions

1Make coffee!

2While that’s brewing, add all other ingredients to a blender container.

3When the coffee is ready, add it to the blender container and blend for ~ 30 seconds, until it’s nice and creamy. Pressure and heat will build up so open the blender lid carefully. I used a dish towel here.

4Pour into a mug you love and enjoy your cozy drink!
