Schedule a Discovery Call today to get started.<\/a><\/p>\n What can I expect? <\/strong><\/p>\n Our first meeting is a 90-minute Nutrition Strategy Session <\/em>(virtual if you are not local to the Richmond area). I’ll take time to learn about any present conditions, symptoms, stressors, your history, food sensitivities, supplements\/medications taken, and guidance from your physician. We’ll discuss what you want to get out of our time working together, review your intake and<\/span>\u00a0your 7-day journal (provided). <\/span><\/p>\n From there, we<\/span> co-create a roadmap for you, with a food and lifestyle-first approach, outlining a path forward prioritizing actionable next steps, resources, and recipes. All guidance includes eating whole foods (minimally processed), plant forward, vegetarian and omnivore friendly, anti-inflammatory, balancing blood sugar, and nervous system regulation support.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n During these follow up appointments we’ll also create a “Meal Ideas List” so you have a go-to list of healthy ideas that meet your needs and help you know exactly what to cook and eat. Whatever life throws at you that month, you can count on having a Nutritionist by your side to cheer you on and help navigate any obstables to achieving your goals. You’ll have email and voice message access to Shelly throughout your plan period.<\/p>\n If you are managing a chronic health condition and following a physician’s protocol, a 6 or 12-month plan is best.<\/em><\/p>\n *Please note: While Shelly is a candidate for the CNS (Certified Nutrition Specialist) licensure and actively under CNS supervision, Medical Nutrition Therapy is outside of the Pure Roots scope at this time.
