It’s not terribly fancy to toss fruit together in a bowl, but when you serve this medley with meals, it automatically brings it up a notch. A little effort goes a long way here. Make a weekly batch of this tangy, delicious fruit medley and get your daily dose of vitamin C. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and enjoy 1-3 cups per day.

1. Prepare and chop fruit as needed and place in a bowl.
2. Mix honey and juice to taste in a small dish with a fork (more juice than honey). Pour it over fruit and gently stir to coat the fruit; the acidity in the citrus helps preserve it.
3. Chop mint and stir in.

Change up your citrus, herbs, and other fruits for a little variety, if you like.

Citrus: lime, lemon, orange, grapefruit juice
Fruits like: strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, mango, papaya, cantaloupe, kiwi, pineapple
Herbs like: mint or basil (or both!)
Raw, local honey. Warm it up a tiny bit to make it easier to mix with the lime juice.
